Our Swimming Pool
Gwauncelyn Primary School are the only primary school in RCT to have the benefit of a swimming pool. The pool was installed over 40 years ago and has been well maintained by our Caretaker!
We teach the national swimming curriculum to our Year 2, 3, 4 & 5 children. (Year 6 go to Hawthorn Swimming Pool). Our staff are lifeguard and curriculum trained.
The children thrive through our method of teaching through play and have lots of fun filled activities in the pool. See our gallery.
We offer free early morning swimming lessons to our non-swimmers.
