My name is Mrs Rees and part of my job is to support parents/ carers and families with any concerns, in relation to supporting your children at school and at home. I lead our school Nursery, I will be at the Nursery door every morning welcoming the children, even though this is a busy time, if you would like to pop to see me, we can make an appointment to chat things through another time. You can also contact me via email suzanne.rees@gwauncelynprimary.rctcbc.cymru or via the school office on 01443 562210. I will endeavour to get back to you as soon as I can around my commitments. 

You will see me welcoming the Nursery children and I try to be at alternate gates at home time, when I am available. so please approach me if you think I can help. Mr Jones / Mrs Marlow, our Head Teacher and Deputy Head are both happy to pass any referrals onto me.

I also work to encourage parental involvement within school and signpost parents to agencies. (where appropriate) 

I work confidentially and impartially and will seek your permission to involve others that may offer help. 

I have registered our school with the Trussell Trust, Taff-Ely Food bank, so if any family is struggling or in crisis I can contact them on your behalf for emergency food parcels and issue vouchers.
