Year 5 welcomed parents to school for International Mother Language Day

The children thoroughly enjoyed listening to Mrs Ong and Mr Marin during their visit to year 5 pupils. They shared how their language can be useful for careers, as learning languages gives you improved communication skills, as well as how it helps you when visiting or living abroad. The children asked lots of interesting questions and enjoyed finding out facts about their culture and backgrounds. Thank you both very much for a lovely afternoon and for engaging our pupils.
